Frequently Asked Questions
What is NYC Restaurant Week?
NYC Restaurant Week is a semiannual program that celebrates New York City’s world-famous dining scene. Participating restaurants citywide offer menus at a special price for lunch and/or dinner, inspiring diners to try something new (and even break bread in a different borough).
When is NYC Restaurant Week?
The program runs from January 16 through February 4, but restaurants may participate for one, two or all three weeks. Always check the NYC Restaurant Week page before booking to ensure the offer is active at your desired restaurant at the time you want to dine. While our website reflects the most accurate information at time of publication, we recommend checking a restaurant’s participation information on their website or by calling the restaurant directly. Saturdays are excluded from the program and Sundays are optional. Be sure to check the hours of operation at the restaurants you plan to visit.
What deals are available during NYC Restaurant Week?
The Winter 2024 program features a trio of pricing options ($30, $45, $60), which restaurants may offer during meal periods of their choosing (lunch, dinner or both). This structure allows a greater variety of restaurants in all five boroughs to participate, creating more options—and more available reservations—for diners.
Are the deals available every day?
In general, restaurants have opted into certain meal periods from Monday through Friday. Please check their websites for hours of operation and regularly scheduled closings. Saturdays are excluded from the program; Sunday participation is optional.
Will takeout and/or delivery options be available?
Takeout delivery and/or online orders are not official components of NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2024. If a restaurant happens to offer their prix-fixe menu for online orders/takeout/delivery, please note that your meal will not be eligible for the Mastercard statement credit.
How do I get $10 back?
To receive your $10 statement credit, you must register your eligible Mastercard prior to dining during the program dates, while supplies last or between January 16 and February 4. You have to spend $45 or more on a single transaction in a participating restaurant. The credit will be reflected on your next Mastercard statement, usually 10 business days after the charge was made.
I spent $90 on my meal. Shouldn't I get $20 back?
No—you’ll receive $10 back on each single transaction of $45 or more, not for every increment of $45 you spend. The maximum amount of cash back you can receive is $30 and only valid for transactions made through February 4 or while supplies last.
Why haven’t I received my $10 statement credit?
If you are waiting to receive a previously redeemed credit:
- Please first ensure that you registered your Mastercard at priceless.com/nycrestaurantweek before you made the transaction. (Registration opens January 3.) Upon successful enrollment, you would have received a confirmation email. Make sure to check your spam folder just in case.
- Please allow 15 business days for processing. Mastercard may have posted the credit, but it may not yet appear on your bank statement.
- You may have already reached the maximum of three (3) credits (for a total of $30 back).
- You must be the primary account holder.
- This promotion is open to all US Mastercard cardholders and select international cardholders.
- Please note that the $10 Mastercard statement credit is only valid for transactions made on-site and not for online orders, takeout or delivery.
- Though most of our restaurants are enrolled in the statement credit program, some are not eligible. Before you dine, please confirm the restaurant is eligible for the statement credit by using the “$10 Back” filter on the NYC Restaurant Week page.
If you are missing the statement credit for any other reasons, you may call or email Mastercard Customer Loyalty at +1 (855) 438-7580 or customerservice@priceless.com within 20 days of the transaction date to investigate further. Please have your credit card details and meal receipt handy. Although Mastercard will do their best to accommodate you, please note that no credits will be applied beyond 20 days after the end of the promotion.
