One of the most popular sporting icons in his native France, Sebastien Chabal has played a number of positions in the back row during his career. He’s had an expansive career at domestic level, playing in France, England, and even Australia and winning the Premiership title with Sale Sharks in the 2005–06 season. At international level, he represented France from 2000 to 2011. He has played in two Rugby World Cups (2003, 2007), but without doubt, his biggest achievement was the grand slam in the European Six Nations 2010.
