American Airlines AAdvantage® Mastercard credit card holders celebrated the talents of the best chefs and food artisans through exclusive cardholder-only opportunities with Chefs For Farmers

American Airlines & Mastercard, the 2023 Official Airline & Credit Card of Chefs For Farmers, brought festival-exclusive benefits to AAdvantage® credit card holders, such as a ticket discount, private dinner events, and meet & greet opportunities.

 

To kick off the activation-filled week, 80 American Airlines AAdvantage® Mastercard credit card holders were invited to an exclusive farm-to-table dining experience with Chef Andrea Shackelford, Chef Josh Sutcliff, and Chef Marco A. Rios, at Water Boy Farms on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

Guests were welcomed to a remarkable cocktail and dinner reception under the lights, amongst the forest trees. The participating Chef's curated each course with inspiration, thoughtfulness, and utilized locally sourced ingredients.

Throughout the dinner, each Chef shared their inspiration behind each dish; followed by a Foley Family Wine representative to take guests through the selected pairings. The most spoken about dish was the watermelon chamoy pulled pork and lamb ham with chimichurri.

 

Heading into the following night, on November 3, 2023, the second exclusive dinner event was hosted for an additional 80 American Airlines AAdvantage® Mastercard credit card holders. Guests were treated to a Night of Flavors with Chef Jeramie Robison, Chef Victor Villarreal, and Chef Lamar Moore at Thompson Dallas.

The terrace dinner was set under the lights that overlooked the breathtaking skyline views of downtown Dallas. The remarkable menu included the highest quality Texas stunning curated plates, and seamless wine pairings.

Similarly, each Chef took the opportunity to introduce the curated courses as well as provided a little background of their culinary experience. Following, Jared Givens, F&B Director, presented the accompanying wine pairings

The two private dinner events showcased a variety of notable, nationally recognized chefs to curate a one-of-a-kind menu. Exclusive for American Airlines AAdvantage® Mastercard credit card holders.

Hosted on Sunday, November 5, 2023, The Main Event at Chefs For Farmers was the final event to close out the week. This festival was a record setting year for attendance with over 3,500 attendees.

American Airlines & Mastercard had access to 40 VIP ticket allotment, Book Signings, Presenting Sponsor of the Best Bite Contest, and a ticket discount for card holders and American Airlines employees.

 

Upon arrival, all festival goers were handed American Airlines & Mastercard branded wristbands for entry as well as co-branded wine glass.

American Airlines & Mastercard built a co-branded dedicated space for Book Signings and Meet & Greets with Maegan Brown "The Baker Mama" and Chef Jon Bonnell. Guests presented their credit cards in order to get in line for this exclusive opportunity.

In additional to the book signings, American Airlines & Mastercard® owned the Main Event's Best Bite Contest. Throughout the day, all festival-goers voted via QR code to select which Executive Chef they thought had the best bite. American Airlines hosts, Megha Patel & Phil Dugaw, awarded the Executive Chef at Georgie, RJ Yoakum, the Best Bite award for 50,000 American Airlines miles.
