Mastercard and Metropolis Studios are proud to present the acclaimed British experimental trio Elder Island as they record Live to Vinyl – and you can join them live online as they lay down tracks from their new album 'Swimming Static'. Genre-defying Elder Island have carved a name out for themselves in the musical landscape after their debut album 'The Omnitone Collection' amassed over 200m global streams, leading to headline appearances at more than 60 shows all over the world. Metropolis Studios will be capturing two tracks performed live by Elder Island in Studio-A and cutting lacquers in real time onto one of the studio's incredibly rare vinyl lathes! As a once in a lifetime opportunity to get close and personal with the artist, you will be invited behind the scenes virtually to witness this all for yourself. Tickets to this exclusive live performance include a limited edition pressing of the songs recorded live on the night at the renowned Metropolis Studios sent to your home, as well as a live Q&A with the band after the recording. Ticket holders will also get a live guided tour of Metropolis Studios as Elder Island tune up and get ready to record Live to Vinyl – with Mastercard and Metropolis Studios, live and direct from the heart of London. - Virtual Experience takes place at 8pm BST on Tuesday 17 August.
- The experience is available to book until 11:59pm BST on Sunday 15 August or until the experience has sold out, whichever is first.
- Tickets are limited to 750. Experience is provided, on a first come, first served basis.
- The cost of each ticket also includes a limited-edition 10" vinyl record and Postage & Packaging. The vinyl record will be shipped approximately 12-14 weeks after the event.
- The cost for international postage and packaging of the vinyl is included within the price of ticket.
